While still in the army in 1979, Pastor Axel pastored a military outreach service in Baumholder, Germany for the Church of God. From 1980-1982 Pastor Axel worked and served faithfully with Rev. Horace Fields of St. Marks Baptist Church in Highland Falls, New York as an Assistant Pastor while stationed at West Point Military Academy. While stationed in Bremerhaven, Germany from 1982-1985 Pastor Axel founded and pastored the Bremerhaven Community Church, a nondenominational church with people of all races and nationalities. In 1986 upon returning to the United States for his next tour of duty at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, Maryland, Pastor Axel became The Founder and Pastor of Tabernacle of Faith Church in Havre de Grace, MD.

Pastor Axel created ministries to meet the needs of the people for Christian development. He has trained many ministries and has licensed four ministers. Pastor Axel is an active member of the Association of Independent Ministries based in Houston, Texas.

Pastor Axel’s Educational background: General Bible and Advance Bible Certificates From the American Bible Institute; Diploma of Biblical Studies From Charis Bible College, AA of Science degree in General Studies from Central Texas College, and a BA degree in Biblical Studies from Lincoln Christain College. Pastor Axel created various ministries to meet the needs of people for Christian development and life. Pastor Axel is happily married to CoPastor Claudia Axeland is the proud parents of three children, James Il, Chante, and Jeff. They are the proud grandparents of two grandsons, Tejaun, and Kevin Jr, and one granddaughter Skylar.
