Co-Pastor Claudia Axel

Co-Pastor Claudia Axel is a graduate of Essex Community College where she received her Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration. Co-Pastor furthered her desire to learn God’s word by attending Victory School of Biblical Studies receiving a diploma. Obtained a certificate in General Bible I from Jersey City Bible Institute an affiliate of Jameson Bible Institute, in Pennsylvania and a certificate from American Bible College.

 Co-Pastor accepted the Lord as her savior on August 26, 1970. In July 1974, she acknowledged the call into the ministry under the leadership of Dr. Thomas P. Robinson of Evangelical Gospel Tabernacle (E.G.T) in Bayonne, N.J. While at E.G.T. she served faithfully as an Evangelist, Choir Director and Youth Leader.

 On August 27, 1977, she married Pastor James E. Axel.  As a result of this union they were blessed with three children. She is also a proud grandmother of three.

 In 1978, the Lord sent Pastors James and Claudia to Baumholder, Germany  where they Pastored an outreach service until 1980. In 1982 the Lord sent them back to Bremerhaven, Germany where they founded and Pastored the Bremerhaven Community Church until 1985. In 1986 they founded and  currently pastors Tabernacle of Faith Church in Havre de Grace, MD. Co- Pastor Axel has served as a Minister of the Gospel,  Bible Teacher, Praise Leader, Choir Director, Child Care Director, Housing Counselor, Food Distribution Director and Women’s Fellowship Leader.

 She has been blessed to speak in many churches in the United States and abroad.                Co-Pastor Axel considers it a privilege to be chosen to serve God’s people.

 Her greatest joy is being available for the Master’s use. Co-Pastor Axel’s favorite scripture can be found in Psalms 34:1 “I will bless the Lord at all times and His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
